In Edo Period (1600-1867), there was Site of the Former Chinese Residence called Tojinyashiki constructed by the Shogunate government. Kannai Machi, Nagasaki is the stage of exchange interacting with people from abroad, connecting with foreign culture and Japanese, and it cherishes long history.
